# Delete profiles

To delete the saved profile for a user, an application, a group, or the link from a user to an application, the specific item will be selected in the tree, or in the list in the right-hand panel, and then either open the menu “*Operations -> Delete*” (also from the right-click context menu), or press the *third button on the toolbar* ![](https://content.gitbook.com/content/AKp9o4ESamTHpX42EKdv/blobs/ubQbl4BcOl9hmkfFo8kY/image1.png) or also press the ‘DEL’ key. If what you want to delete is the link from a user to an application, and the user is part of a group, first drag it to the application branch to remove it from the group (see **4.3.1**) before proceeding to delete it.

To delete joint conditions, select the item of the application in the tree or in the list and then go to the menu “*Operations -> New group/Joint signature conditions*” menu will be accessed (also from the right-click context menu) or the button ![](https://content.gitbook.com/content/AKp9o4ESamTHpX42EKdv/blobs/D51EQ5t68JSrW4aattTI/image2.png) on the toolbar will be pressed. The “*Joint signature conditions*” dialog will be displayed, which was seen in the section **4.2.6**. By selecting the condition to delete and pressing DEL on the keyboard, the condition will disappear from the “Conditions” list and will be deleted.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.editran.onesait.com/documentacion-editran/publico-editranff-v6.2-windows-en/administrador-de-onesait-ecosystems-editran-ff/eliminar-perfiles.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
