# Verification result file

The control file will be created whenever any response has been obtained from the Java Editran/XAdES Server. It is the file that the client's processes will analyze to find out what the result of the corresponding signature was. It is a text file with the following structure:

* The first line contains the result code and the error description if the process has failed. In Appendix B, the list of possible errors is given.
* The following lines are the signers' DNs. The first character of each line will be an 'S' or 'N' to indicate whether the user was one of those allowed according to the profile that was defined for the Application/XAdES.

Below are two example files when the process has finished:

**a)** Successfully:

**00**

**S CN=PEREZ FILEMON ANTONIO – 12345678B, OU=31, OU=PERSONAL EXTERNO, OU=ACGISS, O=Seg-social, C=ES**

**S CN=GARCIA GARCILASO MARIA – 87654321A, OU=74, OU=PERSONAL EXTERNO, OU=ACGISS, O=Seg-social, C=ES**

**b)** With error:

**47 Error: Requesting function not recognized**

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.editran.onesait.com/documentacion-editran/ibm-editran-v5.3-iseries-en/editran-ff/use-of-file-lists-by-editran./cls-and-procedures/verification-result-file.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
