# truststore.sh file

In the Editran/XAdES installation, a TrustStore file, trustStore.pfx, is provided in the /rsc/truststore/ folder (in the XAdES example, /rsc/truststore/trustStore.pfx), with several CAs already included. This store is of the PKCS12 type but contains no keys, only public certificates.

A script has been included for handling the TrustStore file, gestor\_truststore.sh, which makes it easy to add and delete the CAs that we believe the product should accept and, in addition, allows us to change the password for this file (default “password”).

Running this script shows the following:

We choose the default truststore. The following menu appears:

<figure><img src="https://2621858476-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2F80nfuaOloGPZthms7LSJ%2Fuploads%2Fgit-blob-392748209c1e9b8a4879c410d996d634f34aeb79%2Fimage%20(122).png?alt=media" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Option 1: it will show us a numbered list of the CA certificates it contains and will display the available options again.

Option 2: Enter the path to the certificate (.cer, .crt):

The full path to the file containing the certificate must be entered, and if the CA does not exist, it will be added.

Option 3: It will show us the same list as in option 1 and will ask for:

Enter the number of the certificate to delete:

Option 4. The following appears:

<figure><img src="https://2621858476-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2F80nfuaOloGPZthms7LSJ%2Fuploads%2Fgit-blob-1ab5eac9203be7bc27b7e6d1907473a9267221e4%2Fimage%20(123).png?alt=media" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

If the modified truststore is the one defined in xades.properties, remember to update the value of "passTrustStore" using the utility "bin\configuración\_xades".

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.editran.onesait.com/documentacion-editran/ibm-editran-v5.3-iseries-en/editran-ff/configuration-of-editran-xades/configuration-of-certificates-to-be-signed/truststore.sh-file.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
