# Administrator

This screen is accessed from the previous one.

Depending on the version of the remote Editran, the following variations appear in the display of this screen:

* More than 99 files can be sent.

In the first line of the file would appear the one defined in the presentation session profile. To delete a file line, enter D at the beginning of it or delete the corresponding file name. To add one, type the data on a free line. To modify one, type the data on an already filled line. Press ENTER to perform the update and return to the previous menu; PF3 to go back to that previous menu. The data for each line are:

* **Remove:** Put D to delete the line.
* **Order**: Sequential number of the file within the presentation. It is set automatically.
* **Physical name of the output application file:** If this name is deleted, the corresponding line is deleted.
* Next, the meaning of the fields associated with the files is explained; these fields will allow each file's transfer to be individualized in a single load request, so a file may be translated, compressed, or not at the Editran administrator's discretion.
* **Long**: File length, required for files with hybrid format
* **Fr**: File record format. Native mode only 5.2 or higher.
  * **R**: Record format. It is the native format of AS/400 database files.
  * **B**: Binary format. Continuous-format files without record structure.
  * **H**: Hybrid format. Binary file sent as fixed, with mandatory length.
* **Al**: Language in which the data is found.
  * **A**: ASCII.
  * **E**: EBCDIC.
* **Tr**: Translation of the file contents. It can contain the values S (YES) or N (NO).
* **Co**: Compression.
  * S: The file is compressed before being loaded into the buffer.
  * N: Compression is not applied.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.editran.onesait.com/documentacion-editran/ibm-editran-v5.3-iseries-en/administracion-y-operacion/navigation-between-screens/main-menu/administrator/issuance-application-files/administrator.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
