# Modification of reception states

This screen is accessed from the previous one.

Changing presentation statuses is an extraordinary operation that should only be performed under abnormal circumstances, so the user is asked for confirmation before proceeding. If S is entered, the next screen is displayed; if N is entered, it returns to the presentation status management screen.

The presentation session number is displayed, which can be modified, and you are asked whether you want to initialize the presentation states; answer Y or N. If Y, the states would change to 003 "not loaded". Press ENTER to make the change. Press PF3 to cancel. In both cases, you return to the presentation state management screen.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.editran.onesait.com/documentacion-editran/ibm-editran-v5.3-iseries-en/administracion-y-operacion/navigation-between-screens/main-menu/activity-control/presentation-states/modification-of-reception-states.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
