Transmission recovery is launched from options 7 and 8 of the statistics and monitoring system query, which correspond to historical presentation sessions.

## Historical completed presentations with/without incidents

On this screen, a presentation can be selected for recovery as long as the presentation is of emission and contains files.

By typing 'R', 'C', '?', or 'V' in the selection field, the recovery process will be launched, and the result of the launch will be reported on this same screen.

* ‘R’ recovers the emitted files, displays them, and requests a transmission request for this session. If the session was transmitting, no load will occur.
* ‘C’ recovers the files (displaying them) and requests a load without emission. If the session was loaded or transmitting, an error will occur.
* ‘?’ recovers the files and requests a state initialization and a transmission request. The load and transmission are unconditional and will not depend on the state of the transmission. If the session was loaded or transmitting, the transmission will be interrupted and that load will be lost.
* ‘V’ recovers the files and only displays them.

The launch of the recovery takes place by sending a message to the standard application interface transaction ZTBI and executing the ZTBGJIG region, which starts the interface. The interface will launch the execution of the recovery procedure ZTBEPRE with the JCL cards of the session involved.

The files that will be recovered will be those that this presentation loaded in that transmission.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.editran.onesait.com/documentacion-editran/ibm-editran-v5.3-ims-en/recuperacion-transmisiones-ims/operacion-on-line.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
