# Batch Utilities

This section describes how to obtain a summary file of the monitoring of the presentations, as well as the listings from that file.

## Obtaining the statistics summary file <a href="#toc14268140" id="toc14268140"></a>

The statistics summary file contains the information, stored in the Monitoring history, for the sessions completed within the time interval required by the user.

The immediate usefulness of this file is the generation of a listing that reflects this data and totals it by local entity, remote entity, and application.

The JCL used to obtain the file is “ZTBEJLFR”. The desired interval is specified by indicating, in the JCL input file, the initial and final instants in the format yyyymmdd-hhmmss.

This file can be used by a user process. Its description is specified in section 9.3 of the appendix.

The format of the listing is shown in section 9.4 of the appendix.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.editran.onesait.com/documentacion-editran/ibm-editran-v5.3-ims-en/estadisticas-monitorizacion-y-alarmas/utilidades-batch.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
