# Generic initialization of issuance states

## Generalities. <a href="#toc149819096" id="toc149819096"></a>

The macrofile process can also be used to unconditionally initialize the emission state of a session list. The result will be equivalent to the state initialization performed from option 2.1 of the operator menu or by means of the state modification JCL.

## Initialization process. <a href="#toc149819097" id="toc149819097"></a>

It is carried out from the ZTBGJMCR JCL, which calls the ZTBGPMCR procedure, passing the PARM "Ann " where nn=10 (initialize emission) followed by 24 spaces.

The sessions to be processed are taken from the ZTBGFSES file, with record length 80, so it can be created with an editor, which contains in the first 24 positions of each record a presentation session to be processed.

The process is carried out as follows:

* A presentation session is taken from the ZTBGFSES file, its profile is accessed, and its state is validated.
* The state modification process is performed for the session by calling the standard program ZTBGB160 with input parameters E9990001 (unconditional modification of emission states with session number 1), as the ZTBGJ6 JCL would do.
* A new presentation session is taken from ZTBGFSES and processing is repeated until the session list is exhausted.

The macrofile process is not interrupted if an error occurs during the processing of any session. If more than one error occurs, the first one found takes precedence and the JCL ends with that code.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.editran.onesait.com/documentacion-editran/ibm-editran-v5.3-comun-z-os-en/interfaz-generica-de-aplicacion/anexo-c.-macroficheros/inicializacion-generica-de-estados-de-emision.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
