# Transformation with Warnings

Given the asymmetry between the rules of the XML and flat formats in terms of mandatory fields and content in one and the other, sometimes the converter generates files that do not strictly comply with the standard of the final format (mandatory fields left empty, values different from those indicated by the standard, etc.), even though they comply in the initial format. This result will be more common in XML-to-flat transformations because, given the transitory nature of the latter, priority has been given to compliance with the requirements of the XML format.

Since the initial file is correct, the solution provided by the application is to generate those files, but giving a special Warning result (see Result Codes) so that it can be distinguished from a file that does strictly follow the standard. By default, files generated this way are saved as correct in the ZTBGFCAR output list.

When the file that reaches the converter is empty, the converter returns code 28, execution ends with 04, and in the ZTBGFCAR output list the name of the empty file is recorded as it enters the converter (if it is in a procedure prior to issuance, the empty file would be loaded).

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.editran.onesait.com/documentacion-editran/ibm-editran-v5.3-comun-z-os-en/editran-sepa/anexo/transformacion-con-warnings.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
