# Cryptographic system parameterization

* If you want to encrypt data in batch loading with Exchange Keys obtained externally to editran and with the Triple DES encryption algorithm, the parameters to be encoded would be the following:&#x20;

<table data-header-hidden><thead><tr><th width="311.77783203125" valign="top"></th><th width="211.0369873046875" valign="top"></th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td valign="top"> </td><td valign="top">editran/P</td></tr><tr><td valign="top">CRYPTOGRAPHY</td><td valign="top">S</td></tr><tr><td valign="top">CRYPTOGRAPHIC VERSION</td><td valign="top">3.0</td></tr><tr><td valign="top">KEY CHANGE</td><td valign="top">N</td></tr><tr><td valign="top">CONFIDENTIALITY ALGORITHM</td><td valign="top">TD3C</td></tr><tr><td valign="top">AUTHENTICATION ALGORITHM</td><td valign="top">DES</td></tr><tr><td valign="top">LOCAL SUBSYSTEM</td><td valign="top"> </td></tr><tr><td valign="top">REMOTE SUBSYSTEM</td><td valign="top"> </td></tr><tr><td valign="top">LOCAL KEY</td><td valign="top">Label of the local key</td></tr><tr><td valign="top">REMOTE KEY</td><td valign="top">Label of the remote key</td></tr></tbody></table>

* If you want to encrypt data in batch loading with RSA Keys, provided by the editran interface, and with the DES encryption algorithm, the parameters to be encoded would be the following:

<table data-header-hidden><thead><tr><th width="311.77783203125" valign="top"></th><th width="392.765380859375" valign="top"></th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td valign="top"> </td><td valign="top">editran</td></tr><tr><td valign="top">CRYPTOGRAPHY</td><td valign="top">S</td></tr><tr><td valign="top">CRYPTOGRAPHIC VERSION</td><td valign="top">3.0/4.0</td></tr><tr><td valign="top">KEY CHANGE</td><td valign="top">N</td></tr><tr><td valign="top">CONFIDENTIALITY ALGORITHM</td><td valign="top">TD3C</td></tr><tr><td valign="top">AUTHENTICATION ALGORITHM</td><td valign="top">RSA</td></tr><tr><td valign="top">LOCAL SUBSYSTEM</td><td valign="top">For example: P</td></tr><tr><td valign="top">REMOTE SUBSYSTEM</td><td valign="top">For example: K</td></tr><tr><td valign="top">LOCAL KEY</td><td valign="top"> </td></tr><tr><td valign="top">REMOTE KEY</td><td valign="top"> </td></tr></tbody></table>

* If you want to encrypt data in batch loading with AES encryption algorithm and RSA keys, provided by the editran interface, the parameters to be encoded would be the following:

<table data-header-hidden><thead><tr><th width="310.7901611328125" valign="top"></th><th width="395.7283935546875" valign="top"></th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td valign="top"> </td><td valign="top">editran</td></tr><tr><td valign="top">CRYPTOGRAPHY</td><td valign="top">S</td></tr><tr><td valign="top">CRYPTOGRAPHIC VERSION</td><td valign="top">3.0/4.0</td></tr><tr><td valign="top">KEY CHANGE</td><td valign="top">N</td></tr><tr><td valign="top">CONFIDENTIALITY ALGORITHM</td><td valign="top">AES1 / AES / AES3</td></tr><tr><td valign="top">AUTHENTICATION ALGORITHM</td><td valign="top">RSA</td></tr><tr><td valign="top">LOCAL SUBSYSTEM</td><td valign="top">For example: P</td></tr><tr><td valign="top">REMOTE SUBSYSTEM</td><td valign="top">For example: K</td></tr><tr><td valign="top">LOCAL KEY</td><td valign="top"> </td></tr><tr><td valign="top">REMOTE KEY</td><td valign="top"> </td></tr></tbody></table>

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.editran.onesait.com/documentacion-editran/ibm-editran-v5.3-cics-en/utilities-and-codes/appendix-d.-cryptography-system-in-onesait-editran/cryptographic-system-parameterization.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
