* **OPTION**: The values specified on the screen are allowed. Note that the first options are used to check the last activity of the sessions, and the last two provide access to review the activities of the presentations that have ended over time.
* **DIRECTION**: The value “E” indicates that you want to query the send sessions, “R” the receive sessions, and spaces will show both directions.
* **SESSION**: A specific presentation or transmission session can be selected, those containing a certain string of characters by typing \* string, \* string \* or string \*, or all of them if nothing is typed in that field.
* **DATE - TIME**:
 * If a time is entered, the date must also be filled in, and if the date is filled in but not the time, 00:00:00 will be assumed.
 * If no date or time is entered
 * In historical queries, the presentations will be shown starting with the latest completed ones.
 * In the rest of the queries, all presentations / sessions will appear ordered by session code.
 * If date and time are entered
 * In historical queries, the presentations that have ended from that date and time onward will be shown.
 * In the rest of the queries, all sessions started from that date and time will be shown ordered by session code.

The SSSSSSSSS field is a literal with content “SEND” or “RECEIVE” depending on whether a send or receive presentation session was selected.

The map columns are as follows:

* **Selection**: It is an input field that accepts the value “S” to request data on the session's evolution and the corresponding incidents. If this option is used, the transmission session incident information is displayed.
* **Transmission session**: Transmission session code (In CICS, the internal session code will be shown)
* **Start Date - Time**: The date and time of the first time reference is shown for that session (incoming or outgoing connection attempt, local send or receive request, etc.).
* **State**: Indicates the situation the session is in. To see the values that can appear, consult the [Statistics and Monitoring (ANNEX)](/documentacion-editran/ibm-editran-v5.3-cics-en/statistics-and-monitoring/appendix.md).
* **Incident Date - Time**: The date and time when the incident that causes the state in which the session is found, either send or receive, is shown.
* **Number of incidents:** Indicates the number of incidents detected during transmission.

To access the evolution and incident data of a transmission, select with “S” for a specific transmission session. The situation of the transmission session is indicated by the data obtained during its last cycle.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.editran.onesait.com/documentacion-editran/ibm-editran-v5.3-cics-en/operacion/statistics-and-monitoring-editran-ea-optional-module.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
