# CICS environment

For exchange key management, it is necessary to define the following elements in PCT, PPT, FCT (in addition, the corresponding DES and RSA definitions must also be included, which are not indicated in this manual):

```
DEFINE      TRANSACTION(ZTB2) GROUP(EDITRAN) PROGRAM(ZTBPO020)
            TWASIZE(21000) SPURGE(YES) TPURGE(YES) TASKDATALOC(ANY)
DEFINE      PROGRAM(ZTBPOIGC) GROUP(EDITRAN) LANGUAGE(COBOL) DATALOCATION(ANY)
DEFINE      PROGRAM(ZTBPO020) GROUP(EDITRAN) LANGUAGE(COBOL) DATALOCATION(ANY)
DEFINE      PROGRAM(ZTBPO021) GROUP(EDITRAN) LANGUAGE(COBOL) DATALOCATION(ANY)
DEFINE      PROGRAM(ZTBPO022) GROUP(EDITRAN) LANGUAGE(COBOL) DATALOCATION(ANY)
DEFINE      PROGRAM(ZTBPO023) GROUP(EDITRAN) LANGUAGE(COBOL) DATALOCATION(ANY)
DEFINE      MAPSET(ZTBPM20) GROUP(EDITRAN)
DEFINE      MAPSET(ZTBPM21) GROUP(EDITRAN)
DEFINE      MAPSET(ZTBPM22) GROUP(EDITRAN)
DEFINE      MAPSET(ZTBPM23) GROUP(EDITRAN)
DEFINE  FILE(ZTBPFGC) GROUP(EDITRAN)
       DSNAME(PUNTERO.INDRA.ZTBPFGC) LSRPOOLID(NONE)
       STRINGS(2) BROWSE(YES)
       RECORDFORMAT(F) ADD(YES) DELETE(YES) READ(YES) UPDATE(YES)
```

The previous file, ZTBPFGC, must be initialized. It is necessary to run JCL ZTBPJIGC (delete-define + call to program ZTBPBIGC), to initialize file ZTBPFGC

In the procedures, the following actions are required in the PROCEDURES (in addition, the corresponding DES and RSA definitions must also be included, which are not indicated in this manual):

* Include file ZTBPFGC in all procedures prior to emission (ZTBGP1C and ZTBGPMC) and after reception of the entity (ZTBGP4C):

```cobol
//ZTBPFGC  DD   DSN=KI.EGDC.ZTBP.ZTBPFGC,DISP=SHR
```

* On the other hand, 3 new procedures have been created (and are supplied), which will only be used in the editran session in charge of key exchange with the remote entities (not in the normal data exchange sessions):
  * Prior to emission ZTBGP1GC. Only for the end that emits its key. This procedure will not be included in profiles; it is used by the key management itself.
  * After emission ZTBGP3GC (in the profile of both ends). It has a step that is only used by the end that emits a key.
  * After reception ZTBGP4GC (in the profile of both ends).

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.editran.onesait.com/documentacion-editran/ibm-editran-v5.3-cics-en/key-manager/definitions-graphical-interface-and-systems/cics-environment.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
