# Adaptation of the received JCLs

The JCLs, procedures, etc., all of them received in JCL libraries, must be adapted to the entity names. When they are received, the library names contain the pointer Indra, which must be replaced by the appropriate pointer. For this, there will be a CLIST ZTXINST in the entity, which must be executed to perform the conversion described.

For this, go into the library where that CLIST is located. Once there, execute the CLIST ZTXINST as follows: TSO EX 'library.positioned (ZTXINST)' and the following will appear:

```cobol
*******************************************************
* TYPE THE NAME OF THE LIBRARY WHERE IT IS LOCATED *
*         THIS CLIST, THE PANEL AND THE MACRO TO EXECUTE  *
*******************************************************
(TYPE END TO CANCEL) :
```

Type the name of the positioned library

```cobol
*********************************************
* TYPE THE NAME OF THE MACRO TO EXECUTE  *
*********************************************
(TYPE END TO CANCEL) :
```

Type ZTXINSM1 and the following panel will appear:

```
All necessary data will be modified. This CLIST modifies all the JCLs in the library specified in the field 'Library to change'. If the statistics module has been contracted, fill in the appropriate field. If you make a mistake in the names and press Enter, you must restore the JCL library from the received file, and run the CLIST again.
⚙️Next, the following steps must be followed:
If procedures are received:
* Editran provides standard procedures. In some entities, specific procedures are created. Copy or not (depending on the MVS version) the 6 procedures to the PROCLIB library. This is not necessary with MVS version 4.2 or higher, since there is a JCL record that specifies the library from which to execute the procedures; therefore, the procedures can be executed from the product's JCL library by specifying the following record in Editran profiles:
```cobol
//Libproc JCLLIB ORDER=Pointer.JCLLIB
```
* If the entity has specific procedures, adapt them if necessary to the new changes received, etc. The received standard procedures should always be compared with the old standard ones or with the old specific ones, to make it clear whether there have been changes and what they are. The standard procedures are, among others (the standard nomenclature is ZTBGP\*):
  * ZTBGPMC: Procedure before issuing macro files.
  * ZTBGP1C: Procedure before issuance.
  * ZTBGP2C: Procedure before reception.
  * ZTBGP3C: Procedure after issuance.
  * ZTBGP4C: Procedure after reception.
  * ZTBGP5C: Exception procedure.
  * ZTBGP6C: Editran/G status change procedure.
There are other procedures for other types of situations:
* ZTBGPEEA: Procedure to send SMS alarm to UNIX services.
* ZTBGP1CF: Procedure before issuance, for electronic file signing.
* ZTBGP1GC: Procedure before issuance for the TELEGC application, exchange key management.
* ZTBGP3GC: Procedure after issuance for the TELEGC application, exchange key management.
* ZTBGP4GC: Procedure after reception for the TELEGC application, exchange key management.
## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.
Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:
```
GET https://docs.editran.onesait.com/documentacion-editran/ibm-editran-v5.3-cics-en/download-cics-version/operations-to-perform-upon-receiving-the-product/adaptation-of-the-received-jcls.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```
`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.
The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.
Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
