It is recommended to follow the established order, have administrator permissions, and take into account the notes for each step. ## 1. Preparations ![Downloaded Files](https://64653979-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FvdpBggYaSLH9X3nOAiMG%2Fuploads%2Fgit-blob-20b7a5771886cdd75d32e9c560c3fc7425e90b31%2F01_SoftwareDescargado.png?alt=media) Before starting the installation process, make sure you have the following items and conditions: ### ✅ Necessary files You should have previously downloaded the installers appropriate for your version: * **Editran CoreConnect** * **Editran Connect** ### 🔒 Permission requirements In order to correctly run the installers and register system services, **it is essential that you have administrator privileges on the machine** where you will perform the installation. ### 🧰 Environment verification Before continuing, check that the system where it will be installed meets the **recommended minimum requirements** regarding: * **Compatible operating system** (Windows 11 or Windows Server 2019/2022/2025) * **Available RAM memory** * **Disk space** * **Connectivity with other systems if applicable (databases, integration environments, etc.)** 👉 Consult the Editran Connect technical requirements document for more details, or contact the support team if you have questions. ## 2. Possible issues during installation ### Possible error if you already had Visual C++ If you already had the Visual C++ tools installed and tried to install them again, an error may appear.
