# Release notes

## Editran Connect 3.2.7

### Main improvements

#### Unified Java 21

This version includes a single distribution based on Java 21, a modern platform with guaranteed LTS support until 2030. This ensures greater stability, performance, and long-term security.

#### we incorporate the latest version of ODS Plus (.one)

Editran Connect 3.2.7 includes compatibility with the corporate version of ODS Plus, the Onesait design and components ecosystem. ODS Plus brings together in a single standard:

* **Unified UI components:** buttons, inputs, layouts, and visual patterns consistent across all corporate applications.
* **Design tokens and corporate styles:** typography, colors, spacing, and accessible rules, all centralized and versioned.
* **Reusable component library:** they speed up development and ensure consistency across products.
* **Continuous framework updates:** improvements in accessibility, performance, and new UX guidelines.

Compatibility with .one ensures that Editran Connect integrates correctly with these visual guidelines and standard behaviors, making it easier for the product to evolve in line with the rest of the Onesait ecosystem.

### New features

#### Editran-Import: simplified migration in a single step

Editran Connect 3.2.7 includes a new import wizard that centralizes three processes that previously had to be run separately:

* Import from Classic Editran
* Initial onboarding
* Creation of the first user and their basic environment

With Editran-Import, system setup is reduced from multiple manual tasks to a single guided flow. This means:

* Less installation time
* Fewer initial configuration steps
* Lower risk of errors in migration
* Faster transition from legacy infrastructure

It is the recommended way to migrate any previous installation to Editran Connect.

#### Expanded post-processing log

After updating to version 3.2.7, each post-processing run now shows:

* Path used
* Executed call
* Applied parameters

This provides full traceability and makes audits, issue resolution, and validation of automated processes easier.

### Versions and dependencies

Windows / Linux:

Editran Connect 3.2.7

* Protocol 5.3
* Dependency: OpenSSL 3.0. In case of installations on Linux systems, make sure you have this version of OpenSSL installed

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.editran.onesait.com/documentacion-editran/connect-3.2-en/novedades.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
