# Minimum resources

Minimum resources required for the version on both Windows and Linux

**Software version:** Editran Connect v3.2.x

To ensure a successful installation and stable operation of Editran Connect, it is essential that the system meets a series of minimum requirements. These requirements ensure that all software components—including web services, the database engine, and the user interface—can operate correctly in the chosen environment.

> ⚠️ **Warning**:\
> These requirements represent the minimum needed to run Editran Connect under standard conditions. In high-load environments, multiple concurrent users, or advanced configurations, it may be necessary to increase CPU, memory, and storage capacity. It is recommended to validate the resources based on the actual usage scenario before deploying to production.

Below are the supported operating systems and the resources required for both Linux and Windows environments.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.editran.onesait.com/documentacion-editran/connect-3.2-en/instalacion/recursos.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
