# SIAVAL Safecert configuration with Connect

The configuration of the integration of the cloud signature service provider SIAVAL Safecert with Connect is carried out through the following set of parameters:

* **Service URL**: https address where the provider's services are hosted. This address is obtained when the license for cloud signing from this provider is acquired in Connect.
* **Authentication certificate**: certificate (.p12 extension) used to validate the https connection with the provider. When the button **Replace**, a window opens in which you can either drag the file or locate it through the file explorer on the computer where Connect is installed.

  The authentication certificate and its password are obtained when the license for cloud signing from this provider is acquired in Connect.
* **Connection timeout (milliseconds)**: maximum waiting time to obtain a response from the SIAVAL server. It is measured in milliseconds and its default value is 30,000.
* **SSL Protocol**: encryption technology for communication between the browser and the SIAVAL server. The recommended value is TLS v1.2.
* **BouncyCastle Authentication**: indicates the use of the Bouncy Castle library for secure communication protocols with the SIAVAL server. The recommended value is true.

> From this same screen, it is possible both to configure for the first time and to modify (for example, when the authentication certificate expires) the parameters for the integration of Connect with SIAVAL Safecert.
